"SEASONS: Summer," 2026

Avant Vermont Dance is thrilled to present SEASONS: Summer on Saturday, July 11th on the Norwich Green in Norwich, VT as part of The Junction Dance Festival. 

At 6pm, AVD will showcase a cast of regional dancers from Vermont and New Hampshire, plus our Youth Ensemble, in a 30-minute family-friendly program of contemporary ballet and modern dance set to Max Richter's interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, plus music from JVKE, Joy Oladokun, and Sylvan Esso. 

At 6:30, SEASONS: Summer choreographer and AVD co-director Ashley Hensel-Browning will lead a dance workshop open to all ages. 

SEASONS: Summer will be performed outdoors with lawn seating. Bring a blanket or chairs and picnic. Weather date is Sunday, July 12th at 6pm. 

Admission is by donation to ensure SEASONS: Summer is accessible to as many members of our community as possible. Suggested donation is $10/individual, $30 family; however, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
